5Rhythms Dance Practice: Devotions

Devotions are 5Rhythms Sunday sessions, where curious dancers gather with wonder and open mind, to celebrate all that is holy in this one precious life.

We will create our dance morning with an invitation of a poem, allowing the magic and emotions of spoken word to find their expression through our bodies, being shaped into movement, with breath, attention, awareness. These free-form dance practice is as wild or as subtle as you need it to be, usually both.

5Rhythms sessions are lightly guided, we take our time to shape dance conversations between the impulse of music and invitations. We move alone, with a partner, or with a group, looking for a balance, ways to meet as equals, ways to witness and stay nourishing by each other.

We are building an intimate, trusting community, we keep showing up, we keep dancing, we keep living!
