Salsa caleña couple dance workshop

This is a salsa caleña dance workshop for couples. This style, with a lot of footwork, is specific to Cali city, in Colombia. Salsa caleña is also called the “Colombian salsa”.

The guide/teacher is Daniela Mejía Castaño (Project Dans TV show), a Colombian dancer and a journalist who will give you some historical information about the music, the style or the steps.

Bring comfortable clothes and plenty of water,
we’ll learn some basic steps and fun couple tricks, all in a warm, joyful vibe.

All kinds of couples are welcome here (LGBTQ+).

Dit is een salsa caleña workshop voor koppels.

Deze stijl, met veel footwork, komt specifiek uit de stad Cali in Colombia. Salsa caleña wordt ook wel “Colombiaanse salsa” genoemd.

De gids/docente is Daniela Mejía Castaño (bekend van het programma Project Dans), een Colombiaanse danseres en journaliste die je ook de historische achtergrond zal geven over de muziek, de stijl of de passen.

Trek comfortabele kleding aan en neem voldoende water mee — we gaan wat basispassen leren en leuke salsa trucjes voor koppels, allemaal in een warme en vrolijke sfeer.

Alle soorten koppels zijn welkom (LGBTQ+ friendly).
